About the apartment

Delightful apartment at short walking distance from the wonderful beach of S’arenal de s’Olla in Son Parc. This local beach is ideal for all ages and a very safe environment for families with young children - the beach is permanently serviced by life-guards during the summer season.

The apartment consists of two double bedrooms, one with two sets of bunk beds. It has a very comfortable living/dining room area, kitchen, double terrace and bathroom. Close to the apartment you can find the only golf club on the island as well as an impressive variety of restaurants and sports activities located in the lovely town of Fornells which is only a 10 minute drive away.

Bonito apartamento a pocos pasos de la playa S’arenal de s’Olla en Son Parc. Una preciosa playa, ideal para personas de todas las edades I particularmente para familias - dispone de un permanente servicio de socorristas en la temporada de verano.
Este apartamento de dos dormitorios forma parte de la tranquila comunidad de apartamentos Xaloc. La vivienda dispone de dos dormitorios, uno doble y el segundo con 2 literas. Un agradable salón-comedor, cocina, doble terraza y cuarto de baño.
Desde el apartamento se puede disfrutar de un campo de golf y sus instalaciones así como disponer de toda la oferta complementaria de restaurantes y deportes de Fornells que queda a escasos 10 minutos en coche.

Getting There

Flights from the UK:

Many carriers and travel companies fly to Menorca airport in Mahon from most of UK main airports. For budget airlines look at EasyJet, Jet 2 and Monarch.

From Edinburgh check Jet 2 for summer flights. During winter a good option is to go Manchester to Menorca (Monarch)

Newcastle offers also very good summer flights. Check Jet 2 and EasyJet

From London most airports have low budget airlines which fly to Menorca.

Once in Menorca:

From the airport: 20 mins by car. There is a very good service of taxis in the airport to take you to the apartment. To have a hassle free arrival you can book a taxi in advance (Mercadal Taxi Telephone 00 - 34 - 971 375 027 or Mahon Radio Taxi Telephone 00- 34 - 971 367 111 )

Regular bus services link Mahón and Ciutadella to most main towns and resorts on the island.

Car hire: This is the most popular means of getting around and is available from the airport, in Mahón, Ciutadella and in all the resorts. Major international and (often cheaper) local firms operate. The quality of island roads is very good.

Relaxing

Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic islands being 53 km wide and 23 km long. It is located 225 km southeast of Barcelona in the azure Mediterranean Sea.

Golf

The 18 hole course is the work of the well-known golf architect, Dave Thomas (who designed many prestigious courses, such as San Roque and The Belfry).



It is always a good time to visit Menorca but the busiest season is May to October, so outside those months, you can enjoy the course in wonderful tranquillity - many have compared it to having your own private course. It's open 365 days of the year and golf competitions are orgenized througthout the year.
